The ASAP Innovation Group
We recently launched the ASAP Innovation Group, bringing together some of the sector’s emerging talent. The discussion during the first meetings has highlighted just how much passion, professionalism and fresh thinking is coming through the serviced apartment industry.
The ASAP Innovation Group
The Innovation Group recently held their first in-person meeting, during which they discussed everything from operations and sales to technology, guest experience and business growth.
The team shared thoughtful insights into the opportunities ahead for serviced accommodation - and the challenges too. What stood out most from the meeting was the willingness to collaborate, question established thinking and look at new ways to strengthen the sector for the long term.
At a time when our industry is navigating significant change, it was genuinely reassuring to see such an impressive group of future leaders already helping to shape the conversation.

Marking the recent passing of ASAP Chair Keith Freeman, October 2025
It’s been a difficult time for all of us at ASAP as we come to terms with the sudden loss of our Chair, Keith Freeman in October 2025. It’s clear from the outpouring of engagement that Keith was not only a respected leader but also a great friend to so many in our community; and his absence at the conference will be felt very deeply.
Amidst this sadness, we’re continuing the work that mattered so much to him – bringing our sector together, and we will be dedicating the Conference and Recognitions to his memory.
There is a page for those who knew and respected Keith, to leave messages of support and remembrance, and to donate to the homeless charity that was especially important to him.
