ASAP Celebrates Kim Ashmore’s Inclusion in 2025 Women in Trade Associations Powerlist

The Association is delighted to announce that Kim Ashmore, ASAP’s Membership Director, has been nominated and included in the 2025 Women in Trade Associations Powerlist.

Launched today to coincide with International Women’s Day, the Powerlist is a collaboration between the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), Confederation of British Industry (CBI), and the Trade Association Forum (TAF). It celebrates and recognises 100 inspirational women who are making a significant impact within the association sector.

The list was compiled from over 200 public nominations, with a selection panel from TAF, FSB, CBI, and WineGB undertaking the challenging task of identifying the top 100 honourees. Kim’s inclusion is a testament to her leadership, dedication, and contributions to the Serviced Apartment sector and the wider business community.

ASAP is immensely proud of Kim’s well-deserved recognition and celebrates this incredible achievement.

Says James Foice, ASAP CEO: “It is a true privilege to recognise Kim’s incredible achievement in being included in the Top 100 Women in Trade Associations Powerlist. This is a well-earned and prestigious honour, reflecting not only professional excellence but also a lasting impact on our industry.

ASAP Supplier Member RMS , a leading global hospitality technology platform, has partnered with SUNY Niagara’s Hospitality Management Program to provide students with hands-on experience using industry-leading property management technology. As part of the partnership, students studying at the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute (NFCI), a division of SUNY Niagara, will use the RMS platform throughout their Hospitality Management degree, gaining practical experience across key hotel operations including reservations, front desk management, housekeeping, sales, revenue management and reporting. The collaboration supports SUNY Niagara’s transformation of its Hospitality Management Program, which has been redesigned to give students hands-on experience with the technology used across modern hospitality operations. Through dedicated Hotel Operations courses, students will learn both front-line and back-office functions, helping them graduate with practical, workforce-ready skills. As RMS supports operators across all hospitality verticals, students will also gain exposure to outdoor hospitality management, broadening their understanding of the wider industry and creating additional career pathways after graduation. Adam Seskis, CEO at RMS, said: “Hospitality is advancing quickly, and the next generation of talent needs to understand the technology at the center of modern operations. A property management system is the operational heart of any hospitality business, so early exposure to these systems is crucial. “By giving students hands-on experience with real-world hospitality technology, SUNY Niagara is helping develop confident, tech-ready professionals with the practical skills today’s employers need. We’re proud to support that mission and help students enter the workforce ready to contribute from day one.” Daniel DiPirro, Hospitality Management Professor at SUNY Niagara, said: "We are excited to partner with RMS to provide our students with industry-leading hospitality technology. Based at the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute, our program prioritizes experiential learning, complementing our student-run restaurant, Savor, and bake shop, La Patisserie. We are in constant dialogue with our regional hotel partners, who consistently emphasize the need for workforce-ready talent that requires minimal onboarding. “With the support of the Statler Foundation Grant and our partnership with RMS, we are able to give our students the hands-on training they need to enter the industry with confidence and immediate impact." With RMS now embedded into the curriculum, SUNY Niagara is further strengthening its commitment to preparing graduates with the practical skills, technology experience and industry confidence needed to succeed in modern hospitality.
