Charities

At ASAP, supporting meaningful causes is an important part of who we are as a community.

Each year we partner with charities whose work reflects our values of compassion, opportunity and positive social impact. From raising awareness and funding vital research, to helping people rebuild their lives and connecting businesses with ways to give back, we’re proud to champion organisations that make a real difference.

Below you’ll find the charities we currently support, and those we’ve supported in the past.

After our own CEO James Foice was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and subsequently underwent months of treatment, he received enormous support and care from Prostate Cancer UK. So we were delighted to support the charity's work with two years of fundraising, making this the funding focus at two ASAP Conferences in 2024 and 2025, an awareness-raising lunch in 2025, and ongoing team fundraising.

There can be many reasons behind a person becoming homeless, and some of these are part of our sector. For example, landlord selling the property, eviction notices, rent arrears, domestic abuse, high accommodation costs, unemployment, family breakdown or relationship break-ups. Your Place is an amazing charity working to help homeless people in east London back into work, society and regular housing.

A Good Thing makes it easier for businesses to give away the things they no longer need, so that less goes to landfill, and more to a good cause. Their app is as simple as using eBay or Vinted - tell them what you want to donate and where you are, and they’ll match you to charities looking for what it is you're getting rid of - from a single used laptop or some office furniture to surplus branded products looking for a home.

Whether you work in hotels, restaurants, pubs, bars or cafés, schools, hospitals or event venues, Hospitality Action are there to give you the help, advice and support you need whenever times get tough, financially, mentally or physically. In 2021, the ASAP team and some of our finest members pulled together a fundraising campaign for the charity, in support of its own Invisible Chips initiative - where diners could add donations to their bills. Participants in ASAP's 'HAM (Hospitality Action Marathon) & Chips' - walked, ran, roller skated, danced or dog-walked 26.2 sponsored miles and raised over £7k.
