ASSC launches 2026 manifesto urging fair regulation and stronger tourism

Our colleagues at the Association of Scotland’s Self-Caterers (ASSC) have launched their manifesto, Championing Scotland’s Self-Catering: Fair Regulation, Strong Partnerships, Sustainable Growth , setting out a clear call to all political parties to champion fair regulation, evidence-based policymaking and sustainable growth across Scotland’s self-catering sector.

It highlights the vital role self-catering plays within Scotland’s £1bn tourism economy, supporting more than 29,000 jobs, driving local employment and spending in rural, island and urban areas alike.
