CapitaLand Ascott Trust only lodging trust in Asia Pacific in S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2025

In 2025, out of over 7,690 global companies assessed, only 780 companies have been recognised in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook, which is based on the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA).

The CSA measures a company’s performance on and management of material ESG risks, opportunities and impacts, making the link between sustainability and business strategies.

CapitaLand Ascott Trust (CLAS) has greened over 50% of its global portfolio and remains on track to green 100% by 2030. Pictured is Citadines Holborn-Covent Garden London,  an ‘Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies’ (EDGE)-certified property owned by CLAS.

CLAS has an international portfolio of 100 properties with more than 18,000 units in 45 cities across 16 countries in Asia Pacific, Europe and the United States of America as at 31 December 2024, mostly operated under the Ascott, Somerset, Quest and Citadines brands.

ASAP Operator Member Supercity is set to open a new 46-suite aparthotel property in York later this month, on a site previously held by vacant commercial units, including a van hire centre and a restaurant. Supercity’s portfolio includes eight aparthotels across London, Manchester, Leeds, Brighton and Edinburgh, and t he company was recently ranked 16th in the list of the top 30 employers in The Caterer’s Best Places to Work in Hospitality 2026 survey.
