Renters Rights Bill – next stage expected in early June

The next part of the Renters Rights Bill’s progress in the House of Lords is expected shortly after peers return from their recess on June 2.

Over 300 proposed changes were discussed in the previous stage , and only a small number agreed.

After passing through the Report Stage, the Bill then returns to the House of Commons where it is expected there will be rapid agreement and the measure will be sent for Royal Assent, possibly becoming law in late summer.
