Staycity lines up 25-storey Southwark tower as London pipeline tops £800m

ASAP Operator Member Staycity Group is set to bring its Wilde Aparthotel brand to Blackfriars Road, SE London, confirming plans for a 25-storey scheme beside Southwark Underground station.

The site was acquired from Swiss Life Asset Management, and, subject to approvals, Wilde Blackfriars would arrive in early 2030 as one of the brand’s flagship properties in the city. It deepens Wilde’s footprint in the capital, joining locations in Aldgate, Covent Garden, Liverpool Street and Paddington, taking the company’s central London development pipeline to five sites with a combined GDV of more than £800m.
