Our Working Groups are made up of volunteers bringing their expertise and enthusiasm to the table, working together for the benefit of the ASAP Community.

ASAP Members are invited to join the Working and Focus Groups. Whether the group member has experience or expertise in policy, technology, sustainability or running conferences and events, there will be a place to welcome them, to help drive the Association’s work for the benefit of the whole Community.

Policy Focus Group

Representing the Sector. Influencing Policy

Working with policymakers globally to ensure the professional serviced apartment sector is recognised, understood, and supported at national and regional levels. The group helped bring together the industry leading Independent Review of the Role and Value of Serviced Apartments in the UK in 2024. the European version is in planning. Recent activity includes responses to UK government consultations on registration schemes and planning classifications, helping steer the conversation around the sector’s role in local economies, and working on C1/C3 Use Classes and Council Tax classification.

European Focus Group

A united voice for Europe

In response to demand from our European Members, this group brings together operators from across the continent to share insight, drive awareness, and define the sector’s value for travel buyers, investors, and regulators.


The group is also preparing a European Review of the sector – modelled on our UK report.

Designed to help new Operator and Agent Members feel part of the community from day one.


Led by Laura Moore (Aparthotel Birmingham) and Becky Wright (The Corporate Housing Partnership), the group fosters connection, collaboration, and shared learning.

A confidential forum for Agent Members to tackle shared challenges and influence the industry. Topics include legislation, ESG, inflation, energy, and more — with a focus on supporting both operators and buyers, and on transparency and partnership.
