UK remains a ‘priority growth market’ for Hyatt hotels

Hyatt Hotels, parent of ASAP Operator member Hyatt House UK , has unveiled plans to expand its UK portfolio by 30% over the next two years across its brands, following the launch of Hyatt House Leeds, which focuses on extended stays, earlier this month.

It aims to add over 1,000 rooms to the UK over the next two years in key possible destinations such as Oxford, Cambridge, Liverpool, Newcastle, Glasgow, Cardiff, York, Bath, and Belfast.

Hyatt has been rapidly increasing its  UK portfolio  in recent years, with 17 hotels across nine brands.
