Frasers Hospitality and Yotel forge first partnership in Japan to strengthen market presence

Yotel Tokyo Ginza opened on June 9, marking ASAP Operator Member Frasers Hospitality ’s first ground-up development in Tokyo, and the start of its partnership with British lifestyle hotel brand Yotel.
When Frasers Hospitality acquired the former carpark site in 2018, it planned to develop a Capri serviced residence, planned to open in time for the 2020 Summer Olympics, which were postponed to the following year due to Covid-19.
The 14-storey, 244-bed hotel marks Yotel’s debut in Japan and serves as its flagship property in the country.
